Praseodymium, one of the rare earth metals, is relatively reactive in air. It forms a dark oxide within a few days. ACI Alloys can supply pure praseodymium targets and evaporation pieces packed in either a dessicant or in mineral oil. Many praseodimium alloys are less reactive.
