Neodymium

Neodymium, one of the rare earth metals, is relatively reactive in air. It forms a signature purple oxide within a few hours. ACI Alloys can supply pure neodymium targets and evaporation pieces packed in either a dessicant or in mineral oil. Many neodimium alloys are less reactive.
